London-based fashion designer Craig Green links up with adidas once again to showcase his latest experimental footwear designs. One of his projects alongside the adidas E5 is the timeless adidas Stan Smith, featuring a reimagined design composed of the brand’s cutting-edge Boost foam from top to bottom. This Craig Green x adidas Stan Smith Boost “Silver” gleams with a monochromatic silver accent encompassing the Boost-constructed makeover.

The adidas Boost is one of the most popular and most comfortable cushioning systems in the footwear industry, developed by the adidas Innovation Team (AIT) and German chemists Badische Anilin- und Sodafabrik (BASF) for the brand’s sports performance sneakers. Boost eventually made its way towards classic adidas icons such as the Superstar and the Stan Smith, but this Craig Green collab takes the Boost implementation to the next level. This rendition features a Boost upper construction, except for the lining, laces and stitching. Silver Boost foam textures cover the upper, including the tongue, while the adidas Stan Smith’s signature perforated 3-Stripes adorn the sides. Craig Green branding decorates the lateral rear midsole alongside the iconic Trefoil logo. The colour-coordinated silver outsole completes this visually striking reinterpretation of a sneaker icon.
